Serenade

Annunciate, your love to me
It's hard to wait for the poetry
You may find another man that could take my place
One for a harlequin, but that's a wine without taste
And I'm convinced that we flicker when we gravitate
Like a little thunderstorm held in a glass vase

Emancipate, in the irony
That your chasing fate with piracy
Its a wonder how I've shuttled through these different states
Most of them by myself and each one a different face
Till I'm captured by the heart of a serenade
And this heart ends up stealing you and you reciprocate

You have brought me back in to the water again
You have brought me back in to the water to swim
You have brought me back in to the water again
You have brought me back in to the water to swim

Madam mosaic you know I never say it
But Ii think we’re flawless in design
And I know we're different but Ii doesn’t make a difference
Cuz we’re like rhythm and rhyme
Lets take it backwards, we’re way above the standard baby
It's been a wonderful night
Don’t worry darling we’ll paint the city scarlet
Under the bluest of skies

You have brought me back in to the water again
You have brought me back in to the water to swim
You have brought me back in to the water again
You have brought me back in to the water to swim

A masquerade, of a symmetry
In a vast array of our history
